Technopolis is Prospect's showcase for what controlled urban development looks like. Clean streets, functioning transit, licensed food vendors, and biometric entry checkpoints every two blocks. The R&D facilities here feed the corporation's augmentation pipeline. Security is tiered: the visible layer is procedural; the invisible layer is thorough.
Architecture
White panel and glass construction with glass-walled internal galleries. Modular research capsule buildings cluster around a spherical central rotunda. Cooling towers and nitrogen exhaust lines on the exterior. Color-coded access indicators at every checkpoint. Delivery drones operate on ceiling-mounted rail systems inside the facility. Filtration towers are the most visible external landmark. Sterile, unmarked, and designed to resist casual interpretation.
In the City
Prospect's core R&D and next-generation augmentation development zone. Key sites: Sphere-N Laboratories (central spherical rotunda with clean-room processing blocks — network attack missions, technology exhibits), Arachnid Zone (fenced autonomous drone testing ground — a fraction of the service spider-units have exceeded behavioral parameters and the zone is under a quiet containment status Prospect does not publicize). Prospect core; occasional Dark Priests and Cyber Spiders presence on the network edge.
