District

Solar Stations

Prospect's energy infrastructure — photovoltaic fields, inverter bunkers, and strategic value proportional to the city's dependence on them.

Solar Stations is less a neighborhood and more a critical systems management zone: arrays, inverters, distribution hubs, and the personnel who maintain them. Prospect treats it as key infrastructure and defends it accordingly. The district is sparse by residential standards but dense with monitoring. Operations here have city-wide implications — cutting power here cuts power everywhere Prospect wants to keep the lights on.

Architecture

PV panels on sun-tracking mounts in grid formation across open terrain; gravel patrol and maintenance roads between rows. Two-story concrete inverter bunker with glass-panel floors over cable-tray runs and server racks for grid management systems. Green status lighting on the facility exterior. Perimeter fence with sensor towers at regular intervals. No civilian infrastructure — the district exists to serve the hardware.

In the City

Strategic asset and sabotage target. Prospect holds the perimeter and treats every unscheduled visitor as unverified. Saboteur cells have targeted the inverter nodes twice in the past year — attacks logged as equipment failure. Key sites: Solar Farms (PV panel field — maintenance and patrol routes, night sabotage scenarios), Inverter Node (two-story bunker — cable-channel puzzles, grid management hacks). Prospect security; saboteur and Resistance networks.
