District

Warehouse District

Long loading bays and legitimate freight masking almost anything underneath. Sector X uses it as their primary logistics hub.

Warehouse District is where things move — or stop moving, depending on who you've paid. White Bats control most informal storage and transit through here; official cargo goes through licensed facilities; the difference between those two categories is negotiable. Long, poorly-lit loading bays, shifting overnight crews, and enough legitimate activity to mask almost anything. It's a transit point, not a place people live in — unless they have to.

Architecture

Metal "box" warehouses with roller-shutter gates and forklift-rated concrete approach ramps. Rail sidings embedded in yard concrete. Container stacks in grid formation with control towers at yard intersections. Halide work lights on gantry frames; industrial printers at dock-side offices. Residential component: dense fourteen-floor port-worker tower blocks (Anthill Blocks) with cage balconies at every floor — packed, loud, and oriented toward the yard.

In the City

Logistics, customs, and the city's grey economy. White Bats control informal storage and transit flows; Guardians hold the formal checkpoints; Prospect monitors from above. Key sites: Sector-X Complex (numbered warehouse grid with active shipping manifests above and a black-market upgrade operation below), Anthill Blocks (port-worker housing towers — dense community storylines), Shadow Bazaar (semi-enclosed hangar with canvas stalls, holographic price cards, and private transaction bays for items without documentation — implants, information, no questions).
