Major Update 0.0.5 is Live! Sound, Art & Stability

Hello, Mercs and Engineers!

We just crossed the 2,000 Wishlists mark on Steam! 🎉 For our small team, this is a huge step, thanks to everyone who wishlisted the game, played the demo, provided feedback, and shared screenshots.

We're also releasing Patch 0.0.5 - our first truly stable build, laying the foundation for future content. Watch on YouTube

What's new in Patch 0.0.5

🎧 Sound & Atmosphere A major audio overhaul:

  • Added adaptive interface sounds. UI interactions now feel "alive" with harmonic variations.

  • Integrated new weapon and impact SFX - gunshots now have proper weight.

  • Improved location music: tracks dynamically adjust based on proximity to the target.

🎨 Updated Graphics & Art

  • Redrawn backgrounds and scenes to remove odd AI artifacts and ensure consistent art style.

  • Updated character icons to better convey faction affiliation.

  • Cleaned up UI screens for better readability during combat.

🌍 Localization in 11 Languages (Added support for: English, Ukrainian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Polish)

  • Fixed inaccuracies and translation errors.

  • Basic structure is complete; we'll polish wording with the community.

⚔️ Combat Feel

  • Improved shot feedback: knockback, critical hits, and clear damage display.

  • Tweaked enemy reaction animations for more impactful, "meaty" combat.

  • Laid groundwork for environmental effects (explosive objects, hazardous tiles).

🛠️ Fixes & Stability

  • Fixed critical bugs that could break missions or dialogues.

  • Reduced minor visual glitches in the hub and combat.

  • Performed major technical cleanup for upcoming content.

🚀 What's Next

Humanity Echo now enters full production. Key goals:

  • Working economy with traders, crafting resources, and gear upgrades.

  • Weapon and armor modification system for custom builds.

  • New dynamic maps with varied cover and interactive environment (explosive barrels, objects).

  • More diverse enemies with faction-tied behavior.

  • Better character animations and combat flow.

In parallel, we're developing Act I and II: the dialogues are written; now integrating cutscenes and new tactical maps. We're expanding the team for more frequent, stable updates.
